Get Paid to Make NFL Ads | Optimal Bet Creators
NFL Season — Now Hiring

Get paid to make NFL betting ads. No following required.

Optimal Bet makes betting cheat sheets — the same idea as the fantasy draft sheet you already use, pointed at the sportsbook instead. We give bettors the math, not picks. We're planning to spend $1,000,000 putting that in front of NFL bettors this season, and we need the videos.

$30 per approved video, plus a cut of every ad dollar we put behind it.

What you actually do

Three steps. There is no fourth step.

  1. 01

    We send you a brief

One page, every week. It tells you the angle, gives you three example videos, and lists the lines you can't cross. Reading it takes two minutes.

  2. 02

You film it on your phone

Vertical, 30 to 45 seconds, in a quiet room facing a window. Record three different opening lines for the same take — that part matters more than anything else you'll do.

  3. 03

We approve it and pay you

$30 per approved video, within 7 days. Then a cut of whatever we spend running it, for as long as it runs.

What it pays

Two parts. The base is not contingent on performance — if your video flops you still get paid for it, that's our problem to solve, not yours. The commission is where the real money is.

Base $30 per approved video

Paid regardless of how the ad performs, within 7 days. Most creators film three or four in one sitting.

Commission % of ad spend on your videos

A cut of the gross Meta spend on creative you made, once we put budget behind it — for as long as we keep running it. We set your rate when you're accepted, and it moves as your work gets better.

How it adds up Volume

Most videos never get spend behind them. The ones that do can run for months. The creators who earn most are simply the ones who took the most shots.

Who we're looking for

Follower count is not a factor in whether you're accepted — we buy the media ourselves. We're buying 45 seconds of you talking about football like you already do for free. Some creators also let us run ads from their own account. That's optional, we ask later, and it isn't why we pick you.

This is you

  • You watch or bet the NFL every week and can explain why a line looks wrong, not just that it does
  • You're comfortable talking to a camera without a script
  • You can ship at least five videos a week during the season — the creators who earn are the ones who ship volume
  • You answer a text within a day
  • You're 21 or older and based in the US

This isn't

  • Your instinct is to sell a pick. We're a tool, not a tout — we don't do locks, and neither will you
  • You want to promise people they'll win. Nobody can, and we won't let you say it
  • You need a full script written for you every week
  • You're looking for commission-only affiliate work
  • You go quiet for a week mid-season

Optimal Bet gives bettors the math — projections built from real player and game data, line shopping, expected value. We don't sell picks and we don't claim outcomes. Every video has to hold that line. It's the one rule that gets an asset rejected on sight.

About the application

It takes about four minutes and it ends with a 30-second video. That video is the entire decision — we're not going to judge you on a résumé.

The video prompt

“Introduce yourself and tell us why you'd be good at this.”

That's it. No script, no sample ad, no résumé. We're watching for two things: whether you hold attention on camera, and whether you actually know the sport well enough to talk about it without notes. One take on your phone is fine — a polished video is not the point, and it isn't what we're scoring.

Applications are reviewed within 48 hours. If you're accepted you'll get a text, a contract, and your first brief the same week — then you join the creator Discord once your first video clears.

Questions

Do I need followers?

No, and it isn't a tiebreaker either. We run these as paid ads on our own budget, so your reach isn't what we're paying for. If you do have an audience, mention it — there's a separate arrangement for that — but it has no bearing on whether you're accepted here.

Do I have to bet on the NFL myself?

It helps and most of our creators do, but it isn't required. What's required is that you actually follow the sport closely enough to sound credible without a script.

Where do these videos end up?

In paid ads on Meta, and potentially other paid channels. Your face and voice will be in advertising seen by a lot of people. If that's not something you want, this isn't the right gig — and it's better to know that now.

Who owns the video?

We license the footage for paid use, spelled out in the creator agreement you'll sign before your first payment. You keep the right to post your own cuts organically.

What if my video doesn't perform?

You still get paid the base rate. Predicting which creative works is our job, and we're wrong constantly — that's exactly why we need volume. A video that underperforms costs you nothing.

How much work is this, really?

A single video is about 45 minutes end to end, including re-takes, and it drops fast once you've done a few. Most creators batch five or more in one sitting. We'd rather you shipped ten rough ones than one polished one — that's not us lowering the bar, it's how the math works.

When does it end?

It's built around the NFL season and winds down after the playoffs. We stop onboarding new creators at Week 1 — the season moves too fast to bring anyone up to speed mid-flight.

$1,000,000 in ad budget. Not enough creators.

We stop onboarding at Week 1. If you were going to do this, this is the week.
