Giants vs Bills predictions

If you’re looking at the Giants heading into this matchup, it’s pretty easy to start with Daniel Jones. He’s the engine of this offense—even if sometimes his throws get, let’s say, a little adventurous. I’m expecting him to use both his arm and his legs to keep the Buffalo defense honest, somewhere in the ballpark of 230 passing yards and a rushing score isn’t out of the question given his style of play. Saquon Barkley’s always the wild card, though. If he’s healthy and the offensive line gives him any kind of daylight, he’s liable to break off a few runs and flirt with that 100-yard mark—so I’d expect him to be heavily involved, both rushing and catching passes out of the backfield.

Over on the Bills’ side, Josh Allen just has that knack for making things happen, especially in front of the home fans at Highmark Stadium. I’d watch for him to get into a rhythm early, maybe throwing for a couple of touchdowns and adding a big play or two with his legs. Stefon Diggs is his number one target for a reason, and you can almost pencil him in for close to 90 yards and a score when the lights are bright. Don’t sleep on James Cook, either; if he finds some creases, his explosiveness could open things up and take the pressure off Allen so the Bills don’t have to rely solely on their quarterback magic.

So, when it all shakes out, who comes out on top? This one’s going to be tight, no doubt, especially with the way Vegas has the odds razor-close. Still, I have to give the edge to the Bills at home. Their offense just has that extra gear, and it feels like they can find ways to score even when things get messy. If the game comes down to a final drive, I trust Josh Allen to make the plays that seal it. What about you—are you backing the home field, or do you think the Giants have a surprise in them?
