Cowboys vs Rams predictions
Kickoff at SoFi Stadium always feels a little bigger, and the energy should be electric as the Cowboys roll into L.A. for this one. Dak Prescott, who’s known for starting strong in early-season matchups, looks poised to hit his stride right out of the gate. Picture CeeDee Lamb shaking defenders and finishing with a big yardage haul—he’s just that kind of player when the lights are bright. And don’t forget Tony Pollard, who’s finally the featured back in Dallas. If Dallas controls the line of scrimmage even a little bit, Pollard probably racks up those tough yards and finds the end zone at least once. Honestly, the Cowboys love flexing their offensive muscle on the road.
But the Rams have firepower of their own, and playing in front of a home crowd at SoFi seems to bring the best out of Matthew Stafford. You can almost imagine Cooper Kupp back in form, slicing through soft coverage and piling up receptions. There’s also that buzz around the Rams’ emerging young targets—Tutu Atwell and Puka Nacua could be sneaky threats if Dallas keys in too much on Kupp. With Cam Akers in the backfield, L.A. has just enough balance to make things interesting, especially if the offensive line gives Stafford time to set up those deep shots.
All things considered, this matchup feels like it could swing either way, but there’s a reason those odds tip slightly toward Dallas. With Prescott looking sharp, a deeper set of offensive weapons, and that signature Cowboys swagger, I’m picking Dallas to edge out a win on the road. Don’t be shocked if it comes down to the final drive—the Rams will keep it tight until the last whistle, but Dallas just has that extra gear right now.
