Cardinals vs Saints predictions

When you dive into what the Arizona Cardinals could bring to the table at Caesars Superdome, it’s hard not to focus on Kyler Murray’s playmaking ability. If he’s on, you’re looking at a guy who could easily throw for a couple hundred yards with at least a touchdown, and there’s always that sneaky potential for him to break out of the pocket for some solid gains on the ground as well. With James Conner pounding away between the tackles, I’d expect him to get somewhere close to 60 tough rushing yards and maybe find paydirt once. But that’s not all — rookie Marvin Harrison should see plenty of targets, stretching the field for big chunks and maybe grabbing a touchdown if the cards (pun intended) fall right, while Trey McBride offers steady hands over the middle to keep drives alive.

Switching over to the Saints, there’s a bit more of a committee feel on offense, but it all starts with Tyler Shough under center. Don't be surprised if he hovers around 170 yards passing and connects for a score or two. Alvin Kamara, as always, figures to be a dual threat in both the running and passing game. He should be good for around 45 rushing yards with a handful of catches sprinkled in, and Chris Olave remains the go-to guy out wide — just picture him hauling in a few clutch passes for nearly 50 yards and making one of those all-important red zone plays. Let’s not forget Rashid Shaheed, either; his speed can turn the tide in one snap, so look out for a possible breakaway.

With both squads lining up plenty of offensive firepower, this one promises to be a fun watch. The Cardinals just seem to have more balance and explosiveness with Murray leading the charge and some intriguing weapons at his disposal. While the Saints will keep it close thanks to Kamara and Olave, Arizona looks poised to control the tempo and edge out New Orleans, especially if things get tight down the stretch. What do you think — will the Cards’ attack be too much for the Saints D to handle in the Superdome?
