Rockies vs Rangers predictions

If you’re keeping an eye on the Colorado Rockies, there are a few bats that could make things interesting tonight, even if wins have been hard to come by. Hunter Goodman seems poised to keep swinging a hot bat, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see him notch at least a hit or two, plus drive in a run. Ryan McMahon usually finds a way to impact the scoreboard, so pencil him in for another RBI, maybe even a long ball if he gets ahold of one. The Rockies’ lineup also gets sparks from Jordan Beck and Brenton Doyle; both are scrappy types who could each sneak in a hit or possibly swipe a bag. On the mound, Antonio Senzatela faces a tough task in Globe Life Field, and though he might keep the game close for a few innings, don’t expect a boatload of strikeouts from him against this Texas order.

Flipping things over to the Texas Rangers, Wyatt Langford is the kind of guy you just can’t pitch around right now. He’s been seeing the ball well, and I’d expect him to grab multiple hits, maybe a double, and possibly even add a home run to his tally. Adolis Garcia, the heartbeat of their lineup, looks set to pick up where he left off—he’s someone I can see driving in a run and making noise with his bat. Keep an eye on Evan Carter too; his knack for getting on base might set the table for some runs, and a stolen base isn’t out of the question given how aggressive Texas likes to play at home. And let’s not forget Patrick Corbin, who should be able to keep the Rockies bats quiet for at least five innings with a handful of punchouts.

So, when it comes time to put together a winner, it’s hard not to lean Texas in this one. The Rangers have been tough to beat at Globe Life Field and just have too much firepower in the lineup compared to the Rockies, who continue to struggle finding consistency. Unless the Rockies surprise with some early offense, it’s shaping up to be another night where Texas keeps the home streak alive, leaving Colorado still searching for answers. What do you think—can the Rockies pull off a shocker, or will the Rangers keep rolling in front of their home crowd?
