Twins vs Rays predictions
With the Minnesota Twins rolling into this matchup, I’ve got my eyes on a handful of guys who could set the tone. Jonathan Aranda looks poised to keep igniting this offense, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he finds himself on base more than once with the way he’s been hitting. Josh Lowe always seems to bring energy, and with his speed and ability to find gaps, he could pick up an extra-base hit and maybe swipe a bag. Then there’s Brandon Lowe—when he’s dialed in, you can practically see the ball jump off his bat, making him a real home run threat in any given at-bat. Drew Rasmussen on the hill is another name to watch; he usually eats innings and keeps things close, which will be crucial against this Twins lineup.
Looking at how these two teams match up, it genuinely feels like it could go either way, but if I had to lean, I’d give the slight edge to the Tampa Bay Rays. They’ve got the home crowd behind them at George M. Steinbrenner Field, some hot bats in the lineup, and an aggressive approach on the basepaths that really puts teams on their heels.
